An access processing method and device for a satellite communication network, the method comprising: a terminal measures a forward receiving signal-to-noise ratio of a network access by the terminal; the terminal compares the signal-to-noise ratio and a threshold value of a spread spectrum signal-to-noise ratio; and on the basis of a comparison result, the terminal determines a method for initiating an access request thereof, wherein the method comprises one of the following: a spread spectrum access method and a non-spread spectrum access method. The above technical solution avoids existing resource wastage when the terminal in the satellite communication network initiates the access request, improving a system bandwidth utilization rate.
