Glycerin prepared by N - (phosphomethyl) from n - (phosphomethyl) pyridine group ("PMIDA");More specifically, it is a method to control the conversion of PBDEs, determine the final reaction point of PBDEs conversion, and produce glycerine products containing PBDEs. 1. Characteristic 1: the preparation process of N - (phosphomethyl) glycerin, including the oxidation of N - (phosphomethyl) dioxy or a salt, which is characterized by the connection of N - (phosphomethyl) dioxy with the oxidant in the water reaction medium in the reaction area Oxidation in the presence of oxidation catalystto thereby effect the oxidation of N- (phosphonomethyl) iminodiacetic acid and produce a reaction solution comprising N- (phosphonomethyl) glycine or other intermediate that can be converted to N- (phosphonomethyl) glycine; and continue treating said reaction solution to obtain an N- (phosphonomethyl) glycine product that does not contain more than about 600 ppm of N- (phosphonomethyl) iminodiacetic acid or a salt thereof;wherein the oxidation of N- (phosphonomethyl) iminodiacetic acid in said aqueous reaction medium is continued until the concentration of N- (phosphonomethyl) iminodiacetic acid in said reaction medium has been reduced to a terminal concentration such that said additional treatment yields an N- (phosphonomethyl) glycine product with an N- (phosphonomethyl) iminodiacetic acid content not greater than about 600 ppm by weight, based on the N- (phosphonomethyl) glycine.Preparación de N-(fosfonometil)glicina (“glifosato”) a partir de ácido N-(fosfonometil)iminodiacético (“PMIDA”), y, más en particular, métodos para controlar la conversión de PMIDA, identificar puntos finales de reacción relativos a la conversión de PMIDA y a la preparación de productos de glifosato con contenido de PMIDA controlado.
