PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition for oral cavity filled in a transparent container, such as an oral rinse and a mouth wash that do not lose efficacy and stay free of discoloration, abnormal taste or odor, even when exposed to a prescribed amount of light, provided that the liquid composition for oral cavity comprises a quaternary ammonium salt surfactant and is filled in the transparent container.SOLUTION: The liquid composition for oral cavity comprises: the quaternary ammonium salt surfactant 40-80 mass% of at least one chosen from polyhydric alcohols and sugar alcohols 0.001-0.5 mass% of at least one chosen from acetate esters and lactones and 0.00001-0.01 mass% sesquiterpene alcohol.
