PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both prevention of air permeability reduction and prevention of a fastening mark of a long slender elastic stretch member.SOLUTION: The stretch structure of an absorbent article includes: a sheet like member 12S made of an air permeable material and including a fold 80 protruding on an opposite side to a skin contact side and a cover part 85 superimposed on a skin side of the fold 80 in a state in which the fold 80 is fallen and a long slender elastic stretch member 90 arranged along a longitudinal direction of the fold 80 between facing faces 80a, 80b of each fold 80. The elastic stretch member 90 is arranged while passing between a root part 81 and a tip part 82 of the fold 80, and at least both end parts are fixed between the facing faces 80a, 80b of the fold 80. The fold 80 is fixed continuously or intermittently in an extension direction of the fold 80 so as not to allow the facing faces 80a, 80b of the root part 81 to be separated from each other.
