PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration sensation threshold measuring method capable of improving measurement accuracy while being adapted to the measuring method of a vibration sensation threshold regulated in a nonpatent literature 1 or a nonpatent literature 2.SOLUTION: In the vibration sensation threshold measuring method for obtaining the vibration sensation threshold at a fingertip by repeating an elevating method of gradually increasing the size of vibration stimulation till a subject responds and obtaining an elevating method threshold and a lowering method of gradually reducing the size of the vibration stimulation till a subject does not respond anymore and determining a lowering method threshold, the size of the vibration stimulation at the start in the elevating method is set by being randomly changed in a prescribed range (0 to -10 dB, for instance) to the lowering method threshold obtained in the lowering method immediately before. Further, between the end of measurement by the lowering method and the start of measurement by the elevating method, the stop time of the vibration stimulation is provided in a step SP9. It is preferable that the stop period is randomly changed in a prescribed range (0 to 2 seconds, for instance).COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】 非特許文献1又は非特許文献2に規定した振動感覚閾値の測定方法に適合しつつ、測定確度の向上が図れる振動感覚閾値測定方法を提供する。【解決手段】 指先における振動感覚閾値を、被検者の応答があるまで振動刺激の大きさを徐々に増加させて上昇法閾値を求める上昇法と、被検者の応答がなくなるまで振動刺激の大きさを徐々に減少させて下降法閾値を求める下降法を繰り返すことにより求める振動感覚閾値測定方法において、上昇法における開始時の振動刺激の大きさは、直前の下降法で求めた下降法閾値に対し所定の範囲(例えば、0~-10dB)でランダムに変化させて設定するものである。更に、下降法による測定が終了してから上昇法による測定を開始するまでの間に、ステップSP9で振動刺激の停止時間を設ける。停止期間は、所定の範囲(例えば、0~2秒間)でランダムに変化するようにするとよい。【選択図】 図3
