Being an alternative and technological option for solving the problems experienced in modern physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, Whole Body Vibration (WBV) has great significance also for increasing sportive performance. In the comprehensive literature research we conducted, it was seen that there are limitations in acquiring reliable and valid measurements from measurement devices used for detecting the joint angle. In this study, it is aimed to develop a "joint position feedback apparatus" (Joint Proprioceptive Feedback Device (JPFD) ) which provides visual, audial and tactile feedback in sagittal plane in contrast with conventional methods used in detecting joint angle. In this project, it is aimed to prevent acceleration spread to the head of the subject whose measurement is being taken by eliminating the variations in WBV frequency and knee joint angle; to provide conclusion of measurement in static studies without the variation of the muscle length in the same flexion angle of the knee; to eliminate the differentiations in mechanical stimulation of muscles by maintaining the designated knee angle positions; to ensure that human motor system puts forth faultless movements under different mechanical conditions; and thus to eliminate the problems in joint angle detection by making use of JPFD in operations which require detection of joint angle.
