The present invention is related to methods of preparing a pharmaceutical formulation comprising a biopharmaceutical drug, which methods allows the modulation of immune responses related to the administration thereof. The formulation comprises a buffer comprising hexanedioic acid or at least one salt thereof, and/or citric acid or at least one salt thereof. The present invention further relates to method of using hexanedioic acid or at least one salt thereof, and/or citric acid or at least one salt thereof, to modulate the immunogenicity of a pharmaceutical formulation, to a pharmaceutical formulation as such, and to methods of modulating or determining immune responses related to the administration of a pharmaceutical formulation (Fig. 4).La présente invention concerne des méthodes de préparation dune formulation pharmaceutique et notamment dun médicament biopharmaceutique, lesdites méthodes permettant la modulation de réponses immunitaires associées à son administration. La formulation comprend un tampon comprenant de lacide hexanedioïque ou au moins un sel associé, et/ou de lacide citrique ou au moins un sel associé. La présente invention concerne en outre une méthode dutilisation de lacide hexanedioïque ou dau moins un sel associé, et/ou de lacide citrique ou dau moins un sel associé, en vue de moduler limmunogénicité dune formulation pharmaceutique, une formulation pharmaceutique en tant que telle, et des méthodes de modulation ou de détermination des réponses immunitaires associées à ladministration dune formulation pharmaceutique (Fig. 4).
