A method for diagnosing attention disorder is disclosed. The method comprising: providing to a user a predetermined continuous background noise; providing to the user, a first audio stimulation comprising a single sound in a first known intensity; detecting a first startle response; providing to the user, a second audio stimulation comprising two sounds, a first sound in a second intensity and a second sound having the first intensity, wherein the second intensity is selected to be higher than the background noise in an amount that allows the first sound to be noticed by the user; detecting a second startle response; diagnosing an attention disorder is based on the inhibition between the second startle response and the first startle response and sending a signal comprising the diagnosis to an external computing device.L'invention divulgue une méthode de diagnostic d'un trouble de l'attention. La méthode consiste à : fournir à un utilisateur un bruit de fond continu prédéfini ; fournir à l'utilisateur une première stimulation audio comprenant un son unique dans une première intensité connue ; détecter un premier réflexe de sursaut ; fournir à l'utilisateur, une seconde stimulation audio comprenant deux sons, un premier son dans une seconde intensité et un second son ayant la première intensité, la seconde intensité étant sélectionnée pour être supérieure au bruit de fond dans une proportion qui permet au premier son d'être remarqué par l'utilisateur ; détecter un second réflexe de sursaut ; diagnostiquer un trouble d'attention sur la base de l'inhibition entre le second réflexe de sursaut et le premier réflexe de sursaut et envoyer un signal comprenant le diagnostic à un dispositif informatique externe.
