PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for intending to safely reduce of lipid content in a silky fowl, suppression of generating lipid peroxide in silky fowl meat, and enhancement of antioxidant activity in blood.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for improving meat quality of silky fowl characterized by orally feeding 2.846 mg/g body weight of Angelica keiskei per day, as dried weight, for at least 7 days to a silky fowl.
