PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker having a cooking container by which various kinds of steam-cookings become possible in addition to a bread-making. SOLUTION: By providing a vapor generating means 6 based on the constitution of a bread-maker which is conventionally generally known, glutinous rice, egg custard and minced pork wrapped with a dough or the like can be steam- cooked in addition to a bread-making. In this case, in order to realize such a cooking configuration, a cooking container to house cooking materials is made switchable to a state wherein steam can be introduced from the bottom portion and a state wherein steam cannot be introduced for each cooking configuration, or two cooking containers 7 and 8 are selectively used in response to a cooking configuration.
