PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelatinous livestock nipple pack that has high coating forming ability, superior adhesion to the nipple of livestock, does not cause overcure, is reduced in deformation due to drying and is easily removed after use, and to provide a composition for forming the same, as well as a method for protecting the nipple of the livestock using such the nipple pack.SOLUTION: A gelatinous livestock nipple pack is obtained by using a composition containing at least a polysaccharide polymer electrolyte, a gelling reaction agent and a poorly water-soluble solvent, the gelatinous livestock nipple pack that has high coating forming ability, superior adhesion to the nipple of livestock, does not cause overcure, is reduced in deformation due to drying and is easily removed after use.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】皮膜形成力が高く、家畜の乳頭に対する密着性が良好で、過硬化を生じず、乾燥による変形が少なく、かつ使用後は容易に剥がせるゲル状の家畜用乳頭パック、及びそれを形成するための組成物、並びに係る乳頭パックを用いた家畜の乳頭の保護方法を提供する。【解決手段】少なくとも多糖類高分子電解質,ゲル化反応剤及び難水溶性溶媒を含む組成物を用いると、皮膜形成力が高く、家畜の乳頭に対する密着性が良好で、過硬化を生じず、乾燥による変形が少なく、かつ使用後は容易に剥がせるゲル状の家畜用乳頭パックが得られる。【選択図】なし
