PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition for whitening containing Chelidoni Herba extract is provided to ensure cell proliferation, anti-oxidation, tyrosinase activity suppression, melanogenesis suppression without loss of active ingredients. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for skin whitening contains Chelidoni Herba extract as an active ingredient. The Chelidoni Herba extract is obtained by adding 1-5 times volume of solvent and heating at 50-100°；C for 3-24 hours or extracting at 4-30°；C for 3-20 days. The Chelidoni Herba extract is contained in a multiliposome form. The multiliposome is contained in 1-25 weight% based on total weight. A method for preparing the multiliposome comprises: a step of passing Chelidoni Herba extract, purified water, lipid, polyhydric alcohol and other cosmetic ingredients to a microfludizer； a step of filtering with 400-450 mesh of filtering paper to obtain liposome of Chelidoni Herba extract； a step of adding fatty acid ester of polyhydric alcohol； a step of homogenizing by adding fatty acid ester； and a step of passing through the microfludizer.본 발명은 백굴채(Chelidonium Majus L., 애기똥풀) 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 미백 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 백굴채를 유기용매로 추출한 후 이의 건조물을 인지질로 리포좀화시키고 이에 유용성 성분을 포함하는 다중리포좀을 제조하여 활성성분의 손실없이 장기간 안정하게 피부 미백 효과가 있는 화장료의 조성물을 제공하는 것이다.본 발명에 따르면, 본 발명의 백굴채 추출물은 세포증식, 항산화 효과를 가질뿐만 아니라, Tyrosinase 활성억제, Melanin 생성억제 효과로 인한 피부 미백 효과를 갖는다.
