PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely diagnose whether the organism tissue of an object to be observed by fluorescence observation using an enzyme-sensitive fluorescent probe is a normal tissue or an abnormal tissue.
SOLUTION: An endoscopic apparatus 1 is provided with: an insertion part 2 to be inserted to the body cavity of a living body a light source unit 4 for generating excitation light to be radiated to the inner wall of the body cavity from the tip end 2a of the insertion part 2 an imaging unit 3 for imaging fluorescence to be generated from the inner wall of the body cavity by the excitation light irradiated from the light source unit 4 a liquid supply unit 20 having a channel 23 for supplying a liquid which is discharged from the tip end 2a of the insertion part 2 and a heater 26 for controlling the temperature of the liquid flowing inside the channel 23 of the liquid supply unit 20.
