PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental hand piece capable of properly preventing a lid body combined with a hand piece head part by screwing from falling due to a screw loosening in a simple and inexpensive structure.SOLUTION: A dental hand piece 1 includes a cartridge housing 21 holding detachably a cutting tool 22 to be driven rotatably in a storage area 4 of a hand piece head 2. A male screw 16 of a lid body 11 screwed with the hand piece head 2 is combined with a male screw 6 of the hand piece head 2 by screwing. The dental hand piece includes: a fist recessed groove 15 loosely fitting an inner peripheral side of a C-ring 17 being a ring-shaped elastic member at a male screw terminal edge arranged on a peripheral wall part 12 of the lid body 11； and a second recessed groove 5 arranged at a female screw entry edge arranged in the hand piece head 2 so as to face the first recessed groove 15 when the lid body 11 is screw-fastened to the hand piece head 2 and storing an outer peripheral side of the C-ring 17. At a time of screw loosening of the lid body 11, contact resistance force due to the C-ring 17 is generated to prevent falling of the lid body 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】本発明は、簡略安価な構成の基にハンドピースヘッド部とねじ結合した蓋体のねじ緩みによる脱落を的確に防止できる歯科用ハンドピースを提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、ハンドピースヘッド部２の収容領域４内に、回転駆動される切削工具２２を着脱可能に保持するカートリッジハウジング２１を備える歯科用ハンドピース１において、ハンドピースヘッド部２に螺合する蓋体１１の雄ネジ１６と、ハンドピースヘッド部２の雌ネジ１６とのねじ結合であって、蓋体１１の周壁部１２に設けた雄ネジ終端部にリング状の弾性部材であるＣリング１７の内周部側を遊嵌する第１の凹状溝１５を、ハンドピースヘッド部２に設けた雌ネジ入端部に蓋体１１をハンドピースヘッド部２にねじ締め付けした際に第１の凹状溝１５と対向配置しＣリング１７の外周部側を収容する第２の凹状溝５を設け、蓋体１１のねじ緩み時にＣリング１７による接触抵抗力を生じさせ、蓋体１１の脱落を防止するものである。【選択図】図１
