PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which is excellent in fitting property to the body of a wearer, and is hard to generate the leakage of excretion liquids.SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 includes an absorptive core 40. On the absorptive core 40, a slit 5 which does not penetrate the absorptive core 40 in the thickness direction, and also, has an opening section 50 on the skin confronted surface 40a side or the skin non-confronted surface 40b side of the absorptive core 40 is formed by extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorptive article 1. The slit 5 includes a section where the width of the slit 5 gradually increases or decreases from the skin confronted surface 40a side to the skin non-confronted surface 40b side of the absorptive core 40.
