PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which enables a waist region of the disposable diaper to be arranged along a waist of a wearer and can suppress the positional deviation of the entire waist region.SOLUTION: In a rear waist region of a disposable diaper, a first expanding and contracting part 81 which expands and contracts in a width direction and a second expanding and contracting part 82 which is arranged on a side of a crotch region with respect to the first expanding and contracting part and expands and contracts in the width direction are provided. In a front waist region, a third expanding and contracting part 83 which expands and contracts in the width direction is provided. An expansion and contraction stress in a region between the first expanding and contracting part and the second expanding and contracting part in the width direction is lower than an expansion and contraction stress in the first expanding and contracting part in the width direction and is lower than an expansion and contraction stress in the second expanding and contracting part in the width direction. The third expanding and contracting part has a curved shape protruding to the side of the crotch region from outer end parts of the front waist region in the width direction toward a center of the front waist region in the width direction.
