This invention provides an ophthalmic composition containing geranygeranyl-acetone (GGA) and at least a component selected from the group consisting of a preservative and a tackifier to coexist with the GGA, thereby the adsorption of GGA to a container or a contact lens is suppressed, and the stability of GGA against heat is enhanced. By the coexistence of these components the composition becomes a practically satisfactory ophthalmic composition.本發明關於一種眼科用組成物，其係藉由在含有香葉基香葉基丙酮之眼科用組成物中共存至少一種選自由防腐劑及增黏劑所成群組之成分，而抑制GGA吸附於容器及/或隱形眼鏡，提昇GGA對熱的安定性。藉此，成為實用上可滿足之眼科用組成物。
