PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winch device for a wheelchair, detecting slack when a traction member slightly slacks regardless of the amount of the wound traction member of a drum.SOLUTION: The winch device for a wheelchair pulls up the wheelchair into a cabin and pulls down the wheelchair out of the cabin. The winch device includes: traction members connected to the wheelchair drums for winding and delivering the traction members driving parts for rotationally driving the drums and direction changing members for the traction members.
