PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide parallel bars for walking training, which make it possible to carry a wheelchair to the place of a walking trainee when it becomes difficult to continue walking in the middle of the parallel bars while the trainee is having the walking training, and have such excellent mechanical strength that a column is not bent even when the trainee applies force to the parallel bars in the vertical direction.SOLUTION: The parallel bars 1 for the walking training is constituted so that a pair of columns 21a-21d are erected respectively at prescribed intervals on a pair of bases 41a and 41b disposed at the prescribed interval, while handrail bars 11a and 11b are disposed in parallel respectively between the upper parts of the columns 21a-21d facing each other between the bases 41a and 41b, and the upper ends of the columns 21a-21d and the handrail bars 11a and 11b are connected by upper reinforcing members 31a-31d having a bend part wherein the interval of the pair of columns 21a-21d erected on the bases 41a and 41b respectively is wider than the interval of the pair of handrail bars 11a and 11b.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】歩行訓練者が歩行訓練中に平行棒の途中で歩行継続が困難になった際、訓練者の所まで車椅子を運搬でき、且つ、訓練者が平行棒に鉛直方向へ力を加えても、支柱が折れ曲がることのない機械的強度に優れた歩行訓練用平行棒を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】歩行訓練用平行棒1は、所定間隔をおいて配置される一対のベース41a、41b上に、所定間隔をおいて一対の支柱21a~21dがそれぞれ立設され、ベース41a、41b間で対向する支柱21a~21dの上方間にそれぞれ手摺り棒11a、11bが平行に配置されており、支柱21a~21dの上端と手摺り棒11a、11bとが屈曲部を有する上部補強部材31a~31dにより接続されており、ベース41a、41b上に立設されたそれぞれ一対の支柱21a~21dの間隔が一対の手摺り棒11a、11bの間隔よりも広く構成されている。【選択図】図1
