[Problem] To provide a method for easily determining the amount of an exchangeable metal in a plural kinds of soils.[Solution] A method for measuring the amount of a component absorbable by plants among specific metal components in soil sample (A), said method comprising: (a) a step for measuring the individual amounts of two or more components including the specific metals in soil sample (B) which is collected from a site close to the collection site of soil sample (A) (b) a step for measuring the amount of a component absorbable by plants among the specific metal components in soil sample (B) (c) a step for, on the basis of the correlation between the individual amounts of the components measured in step (a) and the amount of the component absorbable by plants among the specific metal components measured in step (b), determining by multivariate analysis a calibration formula for predicting the amount of the component absorbable by plants in the soil among the specific metals and (d) a step for applying the measured amounts of the specific metals in soil sample (A) to the calibration formula, thus predicting the amount of the component absorbable by plants in the specific metals, and referring the thus predicted value to as a measured value.La présente invention vise à fournir un procédé pour déterminer facilement la quantité dun métal échangeable dans plusieurs types de sols. À cet effet, linvention concerne un procédé pour mesurer la quantité dun constituant absorbable par des plantes parmi des constituants métalliques spécifiques dans un échantillon de sol (A), ledit procédé comprenant : (a) une étape pour mesurer les quantités individuelles dau moins deux constituants comprenant les métaux spécifiques dans un échantillon de sol (B) qui est collecté à partir dun site à proximité du site de collecte déchantillon de sol (A) (b) une étape pour mesurer la quantité dun constituant absorbable par des plantes parmi les constituants métalliques spécifiques dans léchant
