The invention relates to the field of medicine and to a minimally-invasive method of carrying out a surgical procedure, and more particularly to a needle biopsy. An automatic, robotic apparatus comprises a robotic arm, which carries out a surgical procedure under the control of a computer system. The robotic arm comprises a U-shaped attachment, inside which there is disposed a needle for a needle biopsy. CT scans prepared by a computer system of a tomograph are sent to the computer system of the automatic, robotic apparatus, which maps out the progression of the procedure and models a needle biopsy. CT scans of a mass lesion are subjected to computer analysis for the automatic setting of optimal parameters and conditions for conducting a robotic surgical procedure. The computer tomograph carries out scanning and projects the progression of the biopsy onto a monitor of the computer system.Linvention concerne le domaine de la médecine, de la méthode dintervention chirurgicale à faible invasivité et notamment de la ponction biopsie. Les coupes tomodensitométriques provenant dun foyer sont soumises à une analyse informatique visant à établir automatiquement des paramètres optimaux et des conditions de réalisation dune intervention chirurgicale robotisée.
