The present invention discloses a wireless data downlink transmission method and device. The method comprises: determining whether a visible-light communication channel is available; if so, then controlling to use a Wi-Fi communication channel and the visible-light communication channel in parallel to downlink transmit data; and if not, then controlling to use a Wi-Fi communication channel to downlink transmit data.
