PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel benzoisofranone derivative as a medicine which acts on a response by gamma interferon between an epithelial cell and a stroma cell to induce the repair and regeneration of an internal organ tissue after the tissue concerned is damaged to provide a novel benzoisofranone derivative as a medicine which acts on a response by lymphotoxin alpha between an epithelial cell and a stroma cell to induce the repair and regeneration of an internal organ tissue after the tissue concerned is damaged and to provide a novel benzoisofranone derivative as a medicine which modifies a responsive reaction in a process, in which a cell is damaged by TGF-beta 1, to induce the repair and regeneration of an internal organ tissue after the tissue concerned is damaged.SOLUTION: The novel benzoisofranone derivative, which has the action to modify a process in which a cell is damaged, is a medicine for repairing, regenerating and treating an internal organ tissue.
