PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liver tissue cell sheet for live organ transplantation with which the long-term maintenance of cellular functions of the liver tissue is possible.SOLUTION: On a cell culture support, the surface of which is coated with a polymer whose hydration power varies in the temperature range of 0-80°C, liver tissue cells which include at least hepatic parenchymal cells and which are obtained from a liver tissue in a temperature range where the hydration power of the polymer is weak, are cultured. After that, the cultured liver tissue cells are flaked off by the change of culture liquid to a temperature at which the hydration power of the polymer becomes strong, and a liver tissue cell sheet for transplantation, which exhibits long-term expression of hepatic functions when transplanted to a living body, is obtained.【課題】肝組織細胞機能の長期維持が可能な生体移植用肝組織細胞シートを提供すること。【解決手段】０～８０℃の温度範囲で水和力が変化するポリマーを表面に被覆した細胞培養支持体上で、ポリマーの水和力が弱い温度域で肝臓組織から得られた少なくとも肝実質細胞を含む肝組織細胞を培養し、その後、培養液をポリマーの水和力が強い状態となる温度に変化させることで培養した肝組織細胞を剥離させることにより、生体への移植により肝機能を長期発現する移植用肝組織細胞シートが得られる。【選択図】なし
