PURPOSE: A tong device for a tractor is provided to prevent articles picked up by a tong device from slipping.CONSTITUTION: A tong device for a tractor comprises a coupler(100), a base frame(200), a rack gear(300), a cylinder(400), a pinion gear(500), a front frame(600), a grip(700), and a cylinder(800). The coupler is formed to be connected to the loader of a tractor. The base frame is installed in the front of the coupler and has rotary shaft in the center thereof. The rack gear is installed to move to the right and left. The cylinder is installed to reciprocate the rack gear. The pinion gear is installed to go in gear with the rack gear and to rotate. The front frame is installed to rotate with the pinion gear. A pair of grips is axis-connected to both sides of the front frame.
