PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation which gives toughness and elasticity to skin making wrinkles not apparent, and prevents aging and promotes rejuvenation by regulating skin texture, and to provide a skin care preparation which can promote heal of skin wound and is effective in ameliorating skin disorders and symptoms such as lichen pilaris (follicular keratosis).SOLUTION: A promoter for skin thickening contains (A) retinoid and (B) tocopherol or its derivative as effective components, and optionally contains at least one selected from (C) glycyrrhizic acid or its salt and (D) urea as effective components.
