PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve planting accuracy by preventing the rolling of the machine body of a transplanting machine caused by riding its wheel on placed soil for pressing down whole surface mulch. SOLUTION: This transplanter equipped with a traveling body 1 having left and right pairs of front and rear wheels 14, 15 tumbling in a gutter 30 between furrows and transplanting a seedling N on the furrow R while travelling by striding over the furrow R is provided by constituting so that the left and right pair of the front wheels 14 are made as striding over a plurality of the furrows R.
