PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which, when giving an instruction of travel operation on a working machine, is capable of preventing the instruction from being given by inadvertent operation and allowing a user to give a reliable instruction of the travel operation.SOLUTION: The portable terminal comprises an instruction display unit 25 to give an instruction of operation on a working machine 2 and display information on the working machine 2. The portable terminal further comprises a travel instruction unit 45 which, when a travel operation tool 30 displayed on the instruction display unit 25 slides and moves to an operation passage position 46 set on the instruction display unit 25 and slides and moves to an operation determination position set separately from the operation passage position 46, gives an instruction of travel operation on the working machine 2 corresponding to the operation determination position.
