PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling roll loading type transplanter which controls reduction in width size in right and left shaking of a long mat seedling of seedling roll by repeated action of reciprocal lateral motion of a seedling table and transplants and travels without a missing plant. SOLUTION: The seedling roll loading type transplanter comprises a roll holder 10 for holding a seedling roll R in which a long mat seedling M long continued in a fixed width size is formed into a roll state so as to feed the seedling roll, a seedling stand 11 for successively moving the tip of the long mat seedling M to an outlet by a reciprocal lateral movement in a range of the width size while feeding the long mat seedling M to a position reaching a seedling receiving plate 14 formed at the planting outlet so as to divide and transplant the long mat seedling M.
