PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system equipped with a three-dimensional measuring technique that enables an accurate measurement result to be acquired, and a measurement method.SOLUTION: An endoscope system includes: an illumination unit for radiating observation light for observing a subject to the subject； a pattern projection unit for radiating measurement light in a predetermined wavelength band of a structured pattern to the subject so as to measure the subject three-dimensionally； a radiation light control unit for controlling the radiation by the illumination unit of the observation light to the subject, and the radiation by the pattern projection unit of the measurement light to the subject； and a three-dimensional measurement unit for performing three-dimensional measurement for the subject according to a designated measurement point based on a measurement image of the subject according to an image acquired at least by the radiation of the measurement light. The three-dimensional measurement unit creates a setting image for setting the measurement point based on the measurement image and causes a display unit to display it. Based on the information on the measurement image corresponding to the position of the measurement point set by the setting image, the three-dimensional measurement unit performs three-dimensional measurement for the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】３次元の計測技術を搭載した内視鏡システムにおいて、正確な計測結果を得ることができる内視鏡システムおよび計測方法を提供する。【解決手段】被検物を観察するための観察光を被検物に照射する照明部と、被検物を３次元で計測するために構造化したパターンの予め定めた波長帯域の計測光を被検物に照射するパターン投影部と、照明部による観察光の被検物への照射と、パターン投影部による計測光の被検物への照射とを制御する照射光制御部と、少なくとも計測光を照射して得た映像に応じた被検物の計測画像に基づいて、指定された測定点に応じた被検物に対する３次元の計測を行う３次元計測部と、を備えた内視鏡システムであって、３次元計測部は、計測画像に基づいて測定点を設定するための設定用画像を生成して表示部に表示させ、設定用画像に設定された測定点の位置に対応する計測画像の情報に基づいて被検物に対する３次元の計測を行う。【選択図】図１
