PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter whose distal end can be excellently bent and which can freely enter body cavities branched at various angles.
SOLUTION: A plurality of operation wires 40 (a first operation wire 40a and a second operation wire 40b) fixed to the distal end 15 of the catheter 10 are each slidably put through a sub-lumen. Traction of a proximal end 17 of the operation wire 40 causes the distal end 15 of the catheter 10 to bend. In the catheter 10, the curvatures C (C1, C2) of the distal end 15 to be bent varies in a plurality of ways by selecting the operation wire 40s for traction (the first operation wire 40a or the second operation wire 40b).
