PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice blast-controlling agent having both of rapid effect in treatment and long-term residual activity and capable of exhibiting high controlling effect for a long period from immediately after treatment with the controlling agent. SOLUTION: This granular agrochemical composition comprises (a) 0.5-20 wt.% rice blast controlling active component, (b) 3-10 wt.% bentonite, (c) 1-3 wt.% nonionic surfactant, (d) 2-4 wt.% nonionic water-soluble polymer and (e) 63-93.5 wt.% mineral-based carrier. This method for controlling the rice blast is also provided.
