PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snack which gives enjoyable flavor and texture of an ingredient material itself and can readily be eaten.SOLUTION: A small piece-like ingredient material and a porous edible material having a plurality of small holes are compounded in such a mass ratio that the mass of the ingredient material is larger than the mass of the porous edible material, and then mixed with each other to prepare a snack dough. The snack dough is molded into a desired shape and then heated with a microwave oven or the like. The snack dough is molded, for example, by thinly extending the dough into a flat plate-like shape having a wholly uniform thickness. At least one desired seasoning treatment is applied to the dough in one or more processes for the snack dough preparation, when the snack dough is prepared, after the snack dough is molded, and while or after the snack dough is heated. Thus, the snack in which the ingredient material and the porous edible material are integrated can be produced.
