PURPOSE: A dental crown composition containing a dental filler with an antibacterial activity is provided to ensure excellent antibacterial and optical properties. CONSTITUTION: A dental filler having an antibacterial activity contains an inorganic oxide composite prepared by hydrolyzing ingredient containing a precursor of a first inorganic oxide and a precursor of a second inorganic oxide containing silica. The first inorganic oxide is zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, phosphorus pentoxide, or calcium oxide. The second inorganic oxide is silica, zirconia, titania, or alumina.
