PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drag cover fitting structure for a double bearing reel capable of accurately and readily attaching a drag cover to a spool and preventing the increase of the inertia of the spool. SOLUTION: This drag cover fitting structure is equipped with a ring-shaped groove 3c, plural female screw holes 3d, a cylindrical centering part 41c, a ring-shaped fitting part 41b, an O-ring 42 and plural screws 44. The ring-shaped groove 3c is formed concentrically with a spool on the side of the spool. The female screws are formed in the outer peripheral side of the ring-shaped groove 3c at intervals in the circumferential direction on the side of the spool. The centering part 41c is formed at the outer peripheral part of the drag cover so as to be pressed tightly against a wall face at the inner peripheral side of the ring-shaped groove 3c. The fitting part 41b is extended from the centering part 41c in the radial direction outward and plural screw insertion holes are formed at positions facing the female screw hole parts at intervals in the circumferential direction. The O-ring 42 is arranged so that it can be brought into contact with the outer peripheral face of the centering part 41c and a wall face at the outer peripheral side of the ring-shaped groove part 3c. The screws are passed through the screw insertion holes and screwed to plural female screw holes.
