PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having compressed grooves and capable of sufficiently diffusing discharged humor to both longitudinal ends of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet a liquid-impermeable back sheet and an absorber disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet and includes a front part, a crotch part, and a rear part. The front part, the crotch part, and the rear part include, respectively, compressed grooves. The compressed grooves in the crotch part are communicated with the compressed grooves of the front part and the rear part respectively. The groove width of the compressed grooves of the crotch part is wider than the width of the compressed grooves of the front part and the rear part.
