PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having favorable fit properties to the private parts and not being bulky to carry about.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorber disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and has a front part, an internal part and a back part in the longitudinal direction. The front part includes an odd number of continuing crests so as to alternately form apex parts and trough parts. The intermediate part has the width narrower than that of the front part. The back part has the width wider than a central part and narrower than the front part and includes at least one virtual embossed line extending into a substantially U shape from a trough part via the front part, the intermediate part, and the back, to another trough part.
