PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation apparatus having a simple structure, readily usable without using soil causing the proliferation of microorganisms and effective for preventing root rot. SOLUTION: The plant cultivation apparatus 10 is provided with a water impermeable vessel 11, a supporting member 12 closing the top of the vessel and supporting a plant, a watering means 13 to supply water from the lower part of the vessel 11 to the upper face of the supporting member 12, and an aeration means to supply air between the lower part of the supporting member 12 and the outside of the vessel. The vessel 11 is composed of a vessel body 14 and a cover 15, and the supporting member 12 is composed of a wire net 21, a supporting plate 22a, a block material 22b, a center member 25 and a light-shielding plate 23.
