PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which has a back sheet with excellent moisture permeability and sufficient strength, is comfortable to wear because it does not become stuffy during use, and credibly prevents leakage of excrement or the like.
SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1A includes an absorbent body 22, a top sheet 18 arranged to cover the surface of the absorbent body 22, and the back sheet 20 arranged to cover the back face of the absorbent body 22. The back sheet 20 has a sheet-like support body 20a made of an air-permeable material and a leakproof coating layer 20b containing a synthetic resin and being formed on at least one surface of the support body 20a.
