The invention provides a system and a method of using mixture of multiple physiological information for identity recognition. The method comprises the steps of: capturing an image of an object when irradiating the object with a multi-wavelength light, extracting a variety of physiological characteristics from the image, performing analysis and matching for each of physiological characteristics to generate a matching score, and determining the objects identity according to all the matching scores. The system and the method have a higher recognition accuracy, lower acceptance rate and false rejection rate, and higher flexibility.
