A method for assessing exercise intensity assisted by using accelerometer includes a measuring step, a pre-processing step, a calculating step and a computing step. The measuring step is to measure three-axis acceleration signals generated when a user is exercising and gather physiological information simultaneously. The pre-processing step is to filter the three-axis acceleration signals in order to remove high frequency noise signals. The calculating step is to calculate an acceleration intensity vector based on the three-axis acceleration signals and then calculate a total acceleration based on the acceleration intensity vector. The computing step is to compute average values of the total acceleration and the physiological information based on a decided time and further compute exercise intensity based on the total acceleration, the physiological information and the average values, thereby detecting the body vibration intensity of the user effectively, calculating the exercise intensity during the excreting period based on the physiological information, and reducing misjudgement greatly to increase the accuracy of assessment effectively.本發明使用加速度計輔助評估運動強度的方法包含有量測、前處理、計算及運算等步驟;其中,於該量測步驟量測使用者身體運動所產生的三軸方向加速度訊號,同時收集生理資訊,接著於該前處理步驟針對該三軸加速度訊號進行濾波,藉以濾除高頻干擾訊號,進一步於該計算步驟依據該三軸加速度訊號計算出加速度強度向量,再藉由該加速度強度向量計算出總加速度,最後於該運算步驟依據一預定時間分別運算前述總加速度與該生理資訊的平均值,並藉由該總加速度、該生理資訊與前述平均值計算出一運動強度,不僅有效偵測使用者身體的振動強度外,同時配合該生理資訊進而計算出運動期間的運動強度,更大幅降低誤判率,進而有效提升評估的準確性。
