An electrosurgical instrument and the manufacturing method thereof comprises a pretreatment step, a plating treatment step, and a post-processing step. The main body of the electrosurgical instrument and an electrode is placed in a container with a cleaning solution, said main body and electrode are connected to the terminals of an electrical power source, which undergoes electrochemical reaction when the power is turned on. As a result, the surface of the main body is coated with a thin layer of gold. The resultant main body is then coated with another layer of non-stick material and dried.一種電燒刀及其製造方法,包含一前處理步驟、一鍍金處理步驟,及一後處理步驟。主要是將一刀體初胚及一電極片間隔置入一盛裝有清潔液的容器內,且刀體初胚及電極片分別與一電源之二電極電性連接,藉由該電源導通,而使電極片及刀體初胚得以於清潔液中進行電化學反應,以對刀體初胚的表面進行清潔作用。再利用電化學反應而於刀體初胚的表面進行鍍金處理以形成一薄金層。之後是在薄金層表面塗佈有一矽烷化合物層,再施予烘乾,即完成本發明之電燒刀的製作。藉此提供降低製造成本、導電性佳且不沾黏人體組織等功效。11‧‧‧前處理步驟12‧‧‧鍍金處理步驟13‧‧‧後處理步驟
