PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a granular deodorizing agent and the granular deodorizing agent manufactured by the same are provided to prevent the generation of scattering and to save costs required for a drying process.CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a granular deodorizing agent includes the following: sludge from water purification is stirred and pulverized 5 to 15 parts by weight of a material selected from a group including regenerated phosphoric acid and phosphoric acid is mixed with the pulverized sludge, and the mixture is reacted the resultant product is introduced into an aging bath the ageing bath is operated to implement an aging process for 6 to 12 hours the aged product is introduced into a disk drier to be heated at a temperature between 100 and 200 degrees Celsius and to rotate such that the moisture content of the product becomes in a range between 20 and 40% and the granular deodorizing agent is obtained.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012산업이 고도화, 집중화되면서 전에는 문제가 되지 않았던 기상(가스상)물질이 고농도로 발생하여 대기오염을 유발하고 인간의 삶의질에 악영향을 끼치고 있어 이에 대한 규제와 관리방안으로 대기환경보전법을 필두로 악취방지법 등 여러 법안이 시행중에 있다. 고농도의 악취물질과 유해가스에 대한 처리방안으로 보편화되어 있는 흡착방식은 다공성 물질을 이용하여 물리적 흡착을 함으로써 가스상 물질을 처리하고 있다. 하지만 주로 사용되고 있는 흡착제인 활성탄은 발화성, 제한적 흡착능, pH에 의한 영향 등의 한계를 지니고 있다. 본 발명은 활성탄과 다른 기작으로 가스상 물질을 탈취하는 입상 탈취제의 제조에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로는 정수시설에서 발생하는 부산물에 재생인산 내지 재생황산을 일정량 혼합하여 반응시킨 후 숙성공정을 거치면서 표면에 관능기를 형성하게 된다. 이후건조공정을 거쳐 마지막으로 입상화를 하게 되면 입상(펠렛) 탈취제를 얻게 된다. 이 제품은 수분을 일정량 가지고 있어 비산을 방지하고 사용 시 편의성을 증대시키고 건조비용을 절감시켜 주는 역할을 한다. 가장 중요한 탈취능 또한 최적의 성능을 발휘하여 사용성, 경제성, 기능성을 겸비한 입상 탈취제를 제조하게 되는 것이다.
