The present invention provides a structure of gripper, particularly a structure of gripper featuring length adjustability. The gripper generally includes an external pipe, an adjustment pipe, a mobile pipe, a clamp head, and a rope element, in which the top end of external pipe, which forms a number of adjustment holes in a periphery thereof, is provided with a handle. A slide rod is slidably installed inside the handle for being pressed to drive the rope element. The adjustment pipe, which is slidably received in the external pipe, can be selectively adjusted in respect of an extended length thereof. Furthermore, the top end of the adjustment pipe is provided with a winding guide pulley for winding the rope element. The mobile pipe is connected, in cascade, to the bottom end of adjustment pipe. The clamp head comprises first and second clamp jaws capable of performing corresponding interleaving clamping operations. A connection sleeve is slidably mounted inside the adjustment pipe and is drivable by the rope element. Through two connection plates, the connection sleeve is separately pivotally connected to the ends of the first and second clamp jaws, which are opposite to clamping ends of the first and second clamp jaws. Through the above-mentioned design, when a user presses the slide rod of the handle, the rope element drives the connection sleeve in order to control the first and second clamp jaws of the clamp head to perform a clamping operation. Furthermore, the length of the gripper can be adjusted by using the design where the adjustment pipe can be adjusted for its extended length relative to the external pipe and the rope element can be released or wound through the winding guide pulley.
