The present invention provides an evaluation aid which can be used as a phantom (imitation lesion) when a digital X-ray image thereof is taken and then evaluation is carried out through the digital X-ray image, and especially an evaluation aid which can be used for easily evaluating image qualities of a digital X-ray image for X-ray absorption parts having different X-ray absorption ratios at once. The evaluation aid of the present invention is adapted to be used for taking a digital X-ray image thereof through which evaluation is carried out, and contains a substrate (plate-like body) including a plurality of regions having different X-ray absorption ratios； and step members provided on the plate-like body so as to correspond to the plurality of regions, respectively, each step member including a plurality of subregions having different X-ray absorption ratios. It is preferred that thicknesses and/or constituent materials of the plurality of regions of the substrate are different from each other, so that these regions have the different X-ray absorption ratios.본 발명은, 디지털 X선 화상을 촬상하여 평가할 때 팬텀(모의 병변)으로서 이용할 수 있고, 특히, 다른 X선 흡수율을 갖는 복수의 X선 흡수 영역에 있어서의 디지털 X선 화상의 평가를 일괄적으로 행할 수 있는 평가용 보조 도구를 제공한다. 본 발명의 평가용 보조 도구는, 디지털 X선 화상을 촬상하여 평가할 때 이용되고, X선 흡수율이 다른 복수의 영역을 갖는 기판(판상체)과, 이 기판 상에, 각 영역에 대응하여 설치되고 X선 흡수율이 다른 복수의 영역을 갖는 스텝을 포함한다. 기판은, 복수의 영역에 있어서의 두께 및/또는 구성 재료가 다른 것에 의해, 각 영역에 있어서의 X선 흡수율이 다른 것이 바람직하다.
