PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition for treating proliferative diseases, especially various cancers, because many compounds are used for treating cancers and other diseases accompanying cell proliferation, but have side effects, lacks of effective treatments, and the like.SOLUTION: Asiatic acid has a property for injuring cells such as cancer cells, and induces apoptosis in the cells to inhibit the proliferation of the cells.
