The invention relates to a method for generating a graphical 3D computer model of anatomical structures in a selectable pre-, intra-, or postoperative status, having the following steps: A) receiving a preoperative first medical 3D image data set (10) of anatomical structures to be treated of a patient by means of a computer-assisted medical imaging method B) generating a first graphical 3D computer model (1) of the anatomical structures to be treated in the form of a digital data set using the first medical 3D image data set (10) received in step A) C) receiving a second medical 2D or 3D image data set (20) of the anatomical structures to be treated in a pre-, intra-, or postoperative status by means of a computer-assisted medical imaging method D) generating a second graphical 2D or 3D computer model (2) of the anatomical structures to be treated in the form of a digital data set using the second medical 2D or 3D image data set (20) received in step C) and E) carrying out an image registration process of the first graphical 3D computer model (1) using the second graphical 2D or 3D computer model (2).
