PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise, easily used and operator independent method for determining the hydration status of a dialysis patient, identifying or predicting the dry weight of such a patient and calculating the amount of fluid that should be removed during a dialysis session.SOLUTION: The invention includes a device for determining the dry body weight during dialysis, and a method of determining the dry body weight of a patient undergoing dialysis by means of segmental bioimpedance analysis. The dry body weight is determined by comparison to bioimpedance values of normal subjects or by monitoring changes in bioimpedance during dialysis.【課題】透析患者の水和状態を決定し、斯かる患者のドライ体重を特定もしくは予測し、且つ、透析期間の間に除去されるべき流体の量を計算するための、精密で容易に使用され且つ操作者に依存しない方法、システムを提供する。【解決手段】透析の間においてドライ体重を決定するデバイスであり、透析を受ける患者のドライ体重を断片的生体インピーダンス分析により決定する方法を包含する。ドライ体重は、正常被検者の生体インピーダンス値と比較して、または、透析の間における生体インピーダンスの変化を監視することで決定される。【選択図】図２
