The present disclosure provides a method and device for processing access network information of User Equipment (UE), a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF), a Bearer Binding and Event Report Function (BBERF) and an Application Function (AF). The method includes that: a PCRF receives a request from an AF, wherein the request is used for requesting to report access network information; the PCRF judges whether an access network where the UE is located supports reporting of the access network information or not; and under the condition that a judgment result is that the access network where the UE is located does not support the reporting of the access network information, the PCRF feeds back to the AF first indication information indicating a failure of reporting the access network information.
