PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel sensor in which changes in the form of a gel by a predetermined stimulation can be easily discriminated.SOLUTION: A gel sensor 10 includes a tubular member 2 having a hollow part 21 and a stimulation-responsive gel 1 accommodated in the hollow part. The stimulation-responsive gel 1 is accommodated in the hollow part 21 of the tubular member 2. By this configuration, undesirable deformation or the like of the stimulation-responsive gel 1 by external force can be suppressed and a predetermined stimulation can be easily detected. By the reaction of the stimulation-responsive gel 1 with a predetermined stimulation, the presence/absence, intensity (quantity, density), or the like of the stimulation can be detected.
